No New Post This Week

This week I went into the lab once to finish up the sediment washing and sieving and took the rest of the week off; this marks the first time I've taken off from my work since getting the samples in October. The chemicals have arrived to do the microplastics analysis but are currently locked up at the university because apparently other people are on break too. Who knew?

I should be back with a regularly scheduled research update next Wednesday and hopefully that will include a first look into microplastics extraction.
