Introduction to Meiofauna Part 3

Apologies for the late weekly update, but here is the newest part to the introduction to meiofauna series. Every week for the next few weeks I will be showing you a meiofauna organism and talking about its importance. Meiofauna play an important role in coastal benthic systems, whether it is for nutrient cycling, bioturbating to increase the penetration of limiting nutrients like oxygen, or for energy transfer through food webs, these very small organisms do a lot that you may not have considered.
