A Quiet Week

This has been a rather quiet week of research, which happens every once in a while. I have been focusing on a presentation that I will be giving tomorrow to one of the organizations that has funded a portion of my research, and I have been finishing up all of the Fall and Winter samples. Finishing most of the processing and analysis work for these past samples means that I am able to look to the future and the next set of samples (Spring) and the next sampling events, which will take the rest of this summer.

What's nice about finishing up with the Fall and Winter samples is that I get to start working on multiple processing and analysis steps at the same time, rather than focusing on one step. I'm excited for the prospect of doing something new every day, which will make the research progress faster (or so I hope). I can't wait to get through the Spring samples so that I have a better understanding of what is going on in the Panama City Beach system.
